Lovely setting, tired villa, mean approach to extras

We have just spent a week at Club Royal Aquitaine Villas in Moliets - beware lots of the reviews below are for other villas in Moliets eg La Prade despite the title. we enjoyed our stay but wont rush back to the Madame Vacances properties here but thought the coastline was SUPERB.
Plus points -
fantastic... location very peaceful - between the sand dunes and the Forest/golf course. Our villa was not overlooked and was very peaceful - number 19. Development is quite small and intimate. Others villas seemed much more open either to the golf course or the road as you walked past.
Reception staff very helpful.
20 minute stroll to the nearest beach - note other than a shower and lifeguards in the afternoon this beach has no facilities but does allow dogs on a lead - good for us.
Collection service for bread, croissant etc in the morning very handy.
Kitchen well equipped with cutlery, crockery and cooking items - we ate in nearly every night and no issues of only 4 glasses, 4 forks, 4 knives that you get in some places.
Negatives-
Linen pack - booked and paid in advance doesn't include teatowels, dish cloth or bath mats. bath mats could be hired as extras but why ? seemed very penny pinching to me.
Villa seemed quite 'tired'. Outside furniture didnt match - 2 plastic sun loungers 2 steamer chairs - 4 oak chairs and table and two mismatched wooden chairs.Gave the property a downmarket feel yet we felt we didn't pay downmarket prices.
We were only 4 in a property advertised for 6 but if 6 of you nowhere to sit around the dining table for 2, no sofas or comfortable lounge chairs for 2 and only 4 sunbeds or reclining chairs. In my view even taking into account the fact that they say in the he advertising that 2 of the 6 have to sleep on sofa beds not really a property for 6. Again not a problem for us but beware if you are thinking of filling these villas to their maximum capacity.
Western style louvred swing doors to bathrooms were deeply irritating - they provide no privacy only irritation when in the middle of the night you have to go through them and disturb everyone else in the villa. I tried the slowly slowly approach - squeaked all the way open and closed and the dash straight through - swing backwards and forwards numerous times with a very loud noise - get rid of them.
Vegetation on our villa was overgrown at the front - meant when we went out first thing in the morning we had to push through the leaves and get wet - much more disconcerting for the children who got the wet leaves in their face.
Garden was not enclosed - in fairness it didn't advertise it was on the internet but it would be easy to enclose and many of the privately owned properties had enclosed gardens. Just means that when you are outside you are not only keeping an eye on your children/dog from not going in the pool but also running on to the road on either side of the property..
Overall we had a good holiday but seemed expensive for the price we paid versus the quality we got.
