Great location

Great location and site in general but seems to have lost the personal touch that Eurocamp had before when they had reps on site. It's very business like, for example eurocamp staff gave tips about local attractions, buses, restaurants, supermarkets and couldn't do enough when we stayed before. Now it's... managed by the main reception staff whom were nice but interested in selling a cleaning package and asking what time we are leaving on check out (we have just arrived after a long drive, not even thought about check out YET. Another frustration, why is it necessary to cause so much noise hedge trimming next to occupied units when people are relaxing and when the site closes for winter in a weeks time. Surley this is when you do the maintenance that causes noise and disturbances? Apart from this it's a great spot and a nice site. It's worth driving to a large supermarket, avoid the local Lidl (it's carnage and very small) and the sat nav takes you the wrong way up a one way road. A trip to the medieval village is worth it and you get a shuttle bus from the town below at the bus station area. Access to Cannes and Antibes is brilliant and with visiting. The site welcomes pets but be sure to have their vaccination records, they ask for them and copy them, even though you wouldn't have been able to enter the country without a health certificate which requires vaccination records to be supplied. No BBQs which is a shame when all Spanish sites have them and allow them. Also the units don't have ovens as standard and you can't request one that has one. They have a hob and a microwave and no BBQ, so don't expect one if you're used to the Spanish sites.
