New owners since 2022, we are delighted to welcome you to l'Abri-Côtier campsite for pleasant family moments just 3 km from the ocean.

Flower Camping L'Abri Côtier is located on the Atlantic coast in Charente-Maritime, just 3 kilometres from the beach. This site is ideal for families wishing to discover the Charente-Maritime region, the island of Oleron and the famous Fort Boyard.
Facilities Flower Camping L'Abri Côtier
The campsite has a heated indoor swimming pool, which is open from April to September. For the little ones, there is a children's pool available in July and August. Sporty guests can use the sports field or hire bikes to actively explore the surrounding area.

In July and August there is an extensive entertainment programme for children aged 6 to 12 (except on Saturdays). Supervised activities are organised in the mornings, while sports tournaments for teenagers and adults take place in the afternoons. A covered playground provides additional play opportunities in bad weather.

Beach at Chatereillon (not sure about spelling!) south of La Rochelle is beautiful. Good beaches at Isle d'Oleron too. Good area to hire bikes from campsite as region is pretty flat. Nearest beach has a sea lido, which is good as the tide goes a long way out, a good mobile cafe and plenty of shade available...

We spent a few nights here over the Easter weekend. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Sites well kept with hedges adding to privacy. A lovely big indoor pool, fenced off kids play area. All well planned and considered. Thank you to management and staff for making our stay enjoyable.
