In the heart of the Ile de Ré, in St Martin en Ré, sheltered by pine trees, Les Maraises campsite welcomes you to a calm, natural setting. Located 2 km from the Vauban fortifications and just a few minutes by bike from all amenities and the ocean, it's the ideal campsite for your vacations. From mid-May onwards, you'll enjoy a heated outdoor swimming pool with waterslides for children. In the surrounding area, you'll find a wide range of activities: surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, tennis and, of course, numerous cycle paths for exploring the island by bike.

In July and August, the campsite team is on hand to offer you all kinds of activities: kids' club for 6-12 year-olds, and daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family: various tournaments, guided tours, themed evenings, dance evenings, bingo evenings... Last but not least, there are various facilities dedicated to children. A playroom and a playground, open all season long, are entirely reserved for them.

Camping Les Maraises offers a wide range of services and facilities. There's a snack-restaurant serving pizzas, burgers, salads and grilled meats, a grocery store, a bakery, a bar and a barbecue area. You'll also have access to Wifi throughout the campsite. You can also rent classic or electric bikes to travel light.

15 mins walk to centre of St Martin de Ré.
Quiet campsite.
Toilets were not very clean.
Wifi was expensive.
Didn't use the bar or BBQ facilities but they looked ok.
Busy when we visited on wked of 15th August.
Pitches were on the small side but still enough room for a large 6-berth campervan.

we have been going to this site now 3 years, we absolutely love it! within minutes by bike we were in st martin and 20-30 minutes la flotte market.
lovely staff who spoke English and lovely clean site. definitely going back in just a couple of weeks

This site lacked character. It felt very enclosed - a bit like a housing estate. It was neither close enough to the town nor the beach. The bike ride would have been too much with two young kids. The Ile de Re is a fabulous holiday destination island. the French have been restricting development since the bridge opened in 1988, consequently this campsite is a little overcrowded, but having said that, so are all the other campsites I saw on the island. This site is spotlessly clean and very quiet....
