Landal Esonstad is located in the Frisian village of Anjum, on the border of Lauwersmeer National Park. In the park you will find houses in the old Frisian style in the fortified town or modern mound houses on peninsulas. You will enjoy a water landscape full of mounds and dikes, where you can walk and cycle undisturbed.

The park has a swimming pool with a separate toddlers' pool and whirlpool, a sauna, a Turkish steam bath and a recreation room. Would you rather play a round of golf? You can do so on Landal Esonstad's 18-hole pitch and putt course (open from March to November)! For other activities, you don't even have to leave the park. The park has a multifunctional sports field, a table tennis table and a small beach. You can hire a rowing boat, canoe or sailing boat in Landal Esonstad's harbour.

For younger guests, the park offers an indoor playhouse, a playground and an air trampoline. The swimming pool also has a separate paddling pool. Children can have hours of fun in the playground with the sunken ship. There is a year-round recreational programme and a special Bollo Club for the little ones.

Landal Esonstad is located in the municipality of Anjum. The North-East Frisian village has its own marina and an open connection to the Lauwersmeer, making it ideal for walking and cycling trips. For example, you can cycle the 13 km route to Dokkum. This town is known for its many cosy terraces and the many water sports enthusiasts in summer. You can also take a day trip to Schiermonnikoog with the m.s. Esonborg. If you want to visit a museum, you can go to the Natuurmuseum Fryslân. The museum's theme is nature in Fryslân. On three floors, you will find lots of information, special animals and plants, assignments, experiments, games and other surprises. This museum is fun for young and old. There is plenty to do in the area around Landal Esonstad.
