RCN Vakantiepark de Roggeberg is located in the nature-rich Drents Friese Wold National Park. The other Friesland. The surroundings offer many opportunities for a lovely cycling and/or hiking trip. The area is in the top 3 of the most beautiful mountain bike routes. There is no lack of facilities either, such as a swimming pool and a climbing course.

You are guaranteed a great holiday on holiday park De Roggeberg! For example, play a fun ball game at the multifunctional sports area, the sports field or beach volleyball court. A tennis and miniature golf court, table tennis table and bowling alley are also represented on the holiday park. The biggest sporting attraction at Vakantiepark De Roggeberg is the 15-metre-high Adventure Climbing Tower (this is part of the Boys of Outdoor, bookable via the RCN app) with its 80-metre-long height course. This is also the largest high ropes course in Europe! You can also enjoy plenty of water fun at the outdoor pool in Appelscha. This swimming pool is located right next to Holiday park De Roggeberg and as park guest you have free access to it.

With lots of fun playing facilities and activities, children will have a wonderful holiday on holiday park De Roggeberg. During the season they can participate in the activities organized by the recreational team and play in the playgrounds. Of course they will also have a great time on the Aventure Climbing Tower! Should the weather be bad, there is an indoor playground where they can romp around. Have you met Alex and Sammy yet? Take the kids on the little train the Rye Express and Alex and Sammy Splash Paradise.

All year round, you can enjoy a nice dinner, lunch or a delicious snack at the Brasserie. During the season, you can also enjoy breakfast. If you prefer to eat in your accommodation, we also offer a sandwich service.

Surroundings Holiday park De Roggeberg
Holiday park De Roggeberg is located in the middle of the Drents Friese Wold, a beautiful wooded area. So be sure to follow one of the signposted cycling or hiking routes. Fancy a day out? Then admire the animals in Dierenpark Emmen or go to Attractiepark Duinen-Zathe, an amusement park with entertainment for the whole family. For the history buffs among us, the Drents Museum in Assen and the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen are highly recommended. Will you also take a selfie on the 34-metre-high Bosberg Tower? The Bosberg Tower is less than a km away from the park and has become a true selfie hotspot on social media in 2020.
