Le Sous Bois campsite is located on the Ile D'Oléron near the fishing port of La Cotiniére, one of the most typical sites of the island and only 200 metres from the Atlantic beaches, ideal for a relaxing holiday. On site you will enjoy a collective SPA.

In July and August, the campsite offers morning, afternoon and evening activities for young and old alike: Dance evenings, country, salsa, karaoke evenings, Pony club - fair, Zumba - tango, Concerts, Clown show, magicians, Walks, Petanque competition, Table tennis championship... You will find on the spot a playground for children with a wooden structure with slide, swing, climbing nets, turnstile, aerial net...

You will enjoy on the spot: a point of sale of local products, a food truck every evening in July and August as well as a free shuttle to the beaches.

We stayed here for 9 nights in July/August. The management were very friendly and helpful. The pitches were a little small for a twin axle, but ok. Facilities were clean and fairly plentiful, although the showers could have a queue early evening. We were expecting direct access to the sea from the...

Nice family friendly campsite close to La Cotiniere and beach. Very clean and well equipped. Good facilities.Look for larger mixed shaded plots away from toilet block for peace and quiet. Near beaches but remember best bathing beaches are on East side of Ile d'oleron.

This site offers good size pitches. Ablutions very clean. Hosts very welcoming with excellent boulangerie across the road. Very quiet site. Only downside is no bar or shop which never bothered us as local commerce 5 mins by bike. Beach stones throw away but quite rocky in places. Excellent cycle routes...

Very clean toilets and showers, a bit run down regarding the fabric of the place. I think you have to ignore the shabby doors etc and accept it for what it is.
