For those who like noise and lots of entertainment, as well as a level of service close to that of a 5-star hotel, you'll have to pass. For everyone else who loves simplicity and relaxation, this place is perfect. We had a great stay and so did our children.

Welcome to the Phare Ouest campsite for a peaceful family holiday with your feet in the water.

Le Phare Ouest campsite is located in the village of Saint-Denis d'Oléron, close to the centre, which offers you many amenities, with its shops, its daily market... On site you will enjoy a water area with 3 slides, a whirlpool area and a paddling pool with water games for children.

Within the campsite, children can have fun on the playground or work out on the multi-sports ground with basketball basket, handball goals and a marked out field, while the older children can enjoy the pleasure of playing petanque.

Situated near the centre which offers many amenities, with its shops (bakery, tobacco, newspaper, bazaar, fishing tackle, small supermarket, garage, petrol station, post office, pharmacy, doctor's and nurses' surgery), its daily market (in season) and its marina which offers various activities.

The warm welcome is to be underlined as well as the availability of the staff. The access to the beach is very easy, as is the cycle path.

Looking at the opinion of other users I find this campsite very good considering the comfort of it, the ocean nearby less than 200m, a beautiful swimming pool and its 3 slides a staff listening to the customer. This campsite is worth the 3 stars. I would come back for my part because 1 couple and 2 children... Perfect
