The Village Les Gorges Du Chambon is located in the middle of nature in an exceptional site in Charente. It welcomes you in a family and friendly atmosphere. The site has an aquatic area with a heated swimming pool, a paddling pool and slides.

On the spot, various sports and play activities will enhance your stay. A Bungat Club, a mini-disco and a playground are reserved for children. A welcome drink is organized every Sunday. The campsite is suitable for hikers. Numerous leisure and sports facilities are also at your disposal: multi-sports fields, tennis, petanque and mini-golf. From the site, various walking and mountain bike trails are available. Evening events are organized to create a more relaxed atmosphere.

In July and August, a snack restaurant is open. A grocery store and a bread store are also available. Campers have at their disposal a Wifi access, a barbecue (for rent), a fridge (for rent) and a washing machine.

The aquatic area is composed of : - Heated swimming pool - Heated pool for children - Slides For reasons of hygiene, shorts and long clothes are not allowed when swimming. The management reserves the right to close the waters due to weather conditions. The pool is heated by a heat pump and the water temperature depends on the outside temperature.

The swimming pool could open earlier. Some of the activity leaders seemed a bit new to us, but perhaps it was their first year... very good campsite, quiet and close to nature.

Great stay at the campsite. A very large, quiet pitch and a clean, comfortable mobile home. A very pleasant welcome. We loved the short walk out of the campsite. Ideal with young children. And the swimming pool was great. The fact that it wasn't too deep and there weren't too many people meant that it was great fun to be in the water and even to use the deckchairs (something that's quite rare on campsites where there are often very few deckchairs for a large crowd). We recommend !!!!

Had a great holiday, site was amazing. Reception was helpful and available out of hours! All the staff were friendly and we had a great time!

Great campsite in a lovely rural area. Really nice pool area to hang out in and we found plenty to do on the area. Aqua parks, zip lines etc within a 45 minute drive. Mostly French and Dutch which suited us pro Europeans just fine..

A disappointing site, overcharged at 46 euros for an unkempt, uneven and messy pitch with faulty electrical connections. Showers and toilets really outdated, nowhere to put clothes in Showers, broken hooks, dark and smelly. Not a 5 star site. Obviously the owners are just money makers as these conditions...

A nice for peace and quite it was in the middle of the countryside and it’s sits within as complex of permanent chalets. A nice reception/ shop / restaurant and swimming pools. The pitches fall away so ensure you have levelling ramps ! Wi fi ok ish at reception area. Nearby there is an outward bounds...

Brilliant campervan experience

We stayed here for two nights on our way south. What a delightful place and so peaceful at this time of year. Lots of very well marked walking trails and I took my bike out for a hilly ride on quiet lanes.
Our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and generous. Definitely a campsite to visit.
