Don't miss

Totally understand that everyone's experience and reviews are their own but some of the negative reviews on here are a bit odd.
We're a family of 4 and visited during October half term and can honestly say it was our best ever holiday.
Let's start with the accommodation, we had a two bedroom Ibiscus... apartment which while 'basic' as some have described, was absolutely fine for 4 people, there was a fridge, gas hob, microwave if you fancied cooking. The benefit of this type of apartment is that all linen is included and we got a change of towels midweek.
The beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed a great night's sleep, only bug bear was we had a ground floor apartment so could hear our upstairs neighbours move chairs, but that's life and they probably could hear my snoring!!
The site itself is fantastic, situated in the shores of beautiful Lake Garda it had several restaurants (which were amazing), onsite supermarket (who sell gorgeous brioches for breakfast), football pitches, tennis courts and pools. We were very lucky with the pools as they were supposed to shut in September but were still open for most of our stay, and if you don’t fancy swimming in the pools or the water park have a nice dip in Lake Garda
One thing to note though, like most European places there is a hygiene requirement to wear a swim cap in the big lap pool.
The site is 35-40 minute stroll along the shore of the lake to the gorgeous town of Peschiera del Garda, which while it not offer the bustling nightlife of a big city is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a negroni
The train station here also connects with Milan, Venice, Verona and onwards and there are bus stops at the site entrance to take you to some of the other pretty towns and villages along the lake.
