Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer is located near the town of Noordwolde, on the border of the provinces of Friesland, Drenthe and Overijssel. The park lies on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park and is surrounded by meadows, forests, lakes and marshes, which form wonderful walking and cycling routes. In the immediate vicinity, there are many opportunities to be active and relax, such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, canoeing, several golf courses and the artificial ice rink Thialf.
Facilities of Het Bosmeer Bungalow Park
Opposite Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer is a heated outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool has three pools and a sunbathing area and is open from the first weekend of May until the beginning of September. As a guest of Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer, you can visit this swimming pool for free. 300 metres from the park is the recreational area with the Spokedam recreational lake, surrounded by sandy beaches and lawns for playing and sunbathing. At the park you can also rent bikes, ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings. There is also a sports field and a tennis court/padel court available.

For children, the park has a paddling pool (filled with water during high season), a petting zoo and play equipment. Moreover, a recreational team is present during the high season for the little ones.

There is no restaurant in the park, but in Noordwolde and the surrounding area you will find several restaurants (including a pizzeria and a pancake house). There are also supermarkets and a bakery 1 km from the park.
Surroundings of Het Bosmeer
Het Bosmeer park is located about 500 metres from the braiding village of Noordwolde, the "Braiding Village of the Netherlands". Noordwolde is located near the "Three Country Point" on the border of South-West Drenthe, Kop van Overijssel and South-East Friesland, a particularly beautiful area. In Noordwolde and its surroundings, you will find shops, cafes and restaurants. If you want to make a day trip in the immediate surroundings, you can visit the park's reception, where you will be happy to be informed about the many possibilities in the Three Provinces region. Enjoy nature on foot or by bike in National Park Weerribben-De Wieden, National Park Drents-Friese Wold or National Park Dwingelderveld. Also worth a visit are the amusement park Duinenzathe in Appelscha, the Braiding Museum in Noordwolde, the Orchideeënhoeve in Luttelgeest and, of course, the UNESCO World Heritage Site The Colonies of Weldadigheid, including the Museum De Proefkolonie in Frederiksoord and the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen.
