Honest June 24 Review

Honest review.
I’ve been staying at The Belvedere Village for a week now, and still have one week left.
Some things are not controllable like the weather or incidents like sickness, so I’ll take these two things out of the review to be fair, since we’ve been hit with both at the very start... of this vacation.
We have booked two different apartments. A family, and a superior, identical in size, but differently built.
The family ones, which funny enough caters to family’s, have a fridge at the size of a bucket, and no dishwasher, which could be really helpful when you’re 6+ people. The Superior has a full size fridge, and a dishwasher. Makes absolutely no sense.
Our apartment, 186, lost the handle on the front door, the twister for the lock, and the shelves inside the fridge is broken and hanging on to their dear life’s. On arrival day, the floor was wet upon entering the apt, but so slippery we had to dry it over with a towel, just to find out the towel was black as in dirty.
The bathroom has electrical cords hanging under the mirror (not child friendly), there’s absolutely 0 (Zero) WiFi coverage inside the apartments, and lightning consists of 1 bulb in each room, no dimming, no reading lights, nothing.
No kettle for boiled water or toaster in the family apt either.
Is it all that bad? No. I had higher expectations though.
What’s good? The staff around the resort are friendly, good welcoming at the reception, and the restaurant at the main pool is actually quite good and very well priced. The area around the resort is great with lots of grocery shopping, outlets and restaurants, and short drives to lovely cities as Milano, Bergamo, Verona, Bologna, and of course, Lake Garda.
1 star for the staff at the resort who plays with the kids everyday.
1 star for the area.
1 BIG star for the boss lady at the restaurant on site, she’s super sweet and friendly.
A half star for the resort, which could be a lot better in my honest opinion.
