The online marketing makes this resort look vastly better than it actually is. Please bare in mind the star rating of 3 stars. Camping Weekend is far superior.
The area surrounding the camp is pretty tired.
We booked a Panorama XL Cottage near the pool. We had olive trees with marching ants encroaching... on the balcony, the Perspex on the balcony was not clean and had seen better days, the decking was somewhat warped and wobbly and to get to the ‘box’ you had to walk down the back through thistles and weeds. Bushes and weeds are intertwined everywhere and there are lots of drops for children to fall down all over the place. This is blatantly snake paradise! Some fences are broken. The toilet blocks looked very basic indeed - somewhat Roman!
The pool area is amazing and very new, the barman (Max) is exceptional and the reception staff are brilliant!
The new slide is fun but the traffic lights are broken and people are too close to eachother. We were worried about hitting other people or banging heads with them where the slide went into the pools. There is a urine smell where people queue for the slide; obviously the slide queue is far more important than going to the loo for some people!
We decided to give the place a go despite our initial observations but the restaurant was the final straw for my husband who works in hospitality. We were placed on a very warm inside area of the restaurant and we asked if it was possible to sit outside. We were told that were not able to be relocated to the outside and they would need to reconsider this tomorrow. We then decided not to eat and not to stay. When leaving the restaurant we observed empty tables outside that easily could have been cleared and we could have sat outside.
We decided to relocate back to Camping Weekend and the staff weee very proactive on organising this. We left the next day.
The whole fiasco has meant that we had to accept a bathroom less Glamping tent at weekend but to us this is much more preferable to Valicella and we are happy here.

I've been here a couple of times with friends, we tried both with our tent and one of the very sweet "Coco Suite" (Hope you catched the pun), both times was very exceptional, calm, quiet during the night and very comfortable inside the coco suite. The location is beautiful, is located on the side of... the hill, so you'll have a very stunning view at sunset time from the top of the camping.
For sport lovers there is a plus, you will be fitter than ever if you voluntary decline every golf cart lift offered to move inside the camping.
The receptionists Elisa and Irene were very professionals and friendly.
The camping offer many entertainment areas, such as beach volley camp, tennis/football and has a "small" waterslide that goes from one pool to another that you can ride (lot of fun, doesnt matter the age)
They have a bar that offer good breakfast and lunch, same here, the staff is very friendly.
Totally recomanded, i will go again for sure.

Excellent séjour d'une semaine dans ce camping !
Nous sommes Français et nous l'avons trouvé sur internet en préparant notre voyage.
Camping très propre, très grand, avec multi- services.
Accueil au top ! L'équipe du camping est jeune, dynamique et très professionnelle.
Le bar ainsi que le restaurant... sont excellents également.
Nous avions réservé une lodge supérieure, qui est neuve ! Deux salles de bain, avec deux WC, pour deux, le luxe !

Non conoscevo la modalità “Glamping”di fare vacanza,ma devo dire che l ho scoperta nel migliore dei modi
Posto immerso nella natura e nella tranquillità assoluta
Qualsiasi cosa tu abbia bisogno il personale è super disponibile educato rispettoso e gentile
Il silenzio e la pulizia di questo... posto mi hanno permesso di riposarmi rilassandomi
La tenda totalmente attrezzata e con biancheria fornita
Non abbiamo avuto problemi neanche con le zanzare
Un posto da sogno
Per non parlare delle piscine in cui ci siamo divertiti tantissimo con animazione per i bambini

Wat een gezellige glamping! In de 2e week van september was het lekker rustig met vooral veel gezinnen met jonge kinderen. Er hangt een hele gezellige sfeer. Normaal zijn we niet zo van de animatie maar ons dochtertje vond het knutseluurtje en de kinderdisco zó leuk dat we er elke dag wel even naartoe... gingen. De peuterbadjes zijn leuk en de bandenbaan is helemaal geweldig. Een topplek als je lekker wilt relaxen met je kind(eren) op 1 plek. Het ligt niet heel centraal in Toscane, dus wij hebben het gecombineerd met een agriturismo middenin Toscane. 1 weekje wat meer zien en doen en 1 weekje glamping life. Aanrader!
