Relax by the lake, on the sandy beach just a stone's throw from the residence! There are plenty of playgrounds by the lake, where you can also play beach volleyball. There's also a fishing pond and a small marina. Other facilities include a soccer pitch, mini-golf course, ping-pong table and petanque area. Bicycles and go-karts can also be hired directly from reception.

Want to discover a new city? Head to Hasselt! You can visit the Jenever museum, St. Quentin's cathedral and Winterland, a theme park located in the city. If you're on vacation with your family, the Bobbejaanland theme park is a recommended outing.

Information outdoor pool and beach

Due to a renovation, the outdoor pool is closed as of today. Guests can use the nearby swimming pool at Oostappen park Blauwe Meer, entrance tickets are available at the reception of Parelstrand. During low season (from September to April), the swimming pool is only open on weekends. Please note: the beach at the park is open, however, the swimming lake is not suitable as swimming water.

Positive experience:
Friendly staff
Clean and tidy cottage on arrival
With every question I was well helped
And the children had a lot of fun also with the entertainment team what did they do nice and nothing was too crazy was very nice . Of all the negative references, nothing was true the park was clean, tidy and safe the security kept a close eye on whether people were keeping up the speed in one incident they immediately intervened, honking their horn and the security went after them so that people could call their children in time. We were able to fully enjoy our holiday thank you very much

Points for improvement:
No minus point could discover the negative references were totally inconsistent with what we experienced

Positive experience:
Der Park ist sehr weitläufig, nicht überfüllt. Es gibt mehrere Teiche, aber auch ein sehr schönen, klaren See.
Außerdem kann man mit dem Auto unterschiedliche Sehenswürdigkeiten und Attraktionen erreichen.

Points of improvement:
Leider stimmen nicht alle Informationen der Internetseite mit den Örtlichkeiten und Gegebenheiten überein. Zum Beispiel Kein freies Wlan und nach der Sandlandschaft mit Piratenschiff und Wasser für ncht so gutes Wetter haben wir vergeblich gesucht. Wir konnten auch nicht in Erfahrung bringen, wo diese Attraktion ist.
Wir haben erst viel Später an der Rezeption erfahren, dass man die anderen Oostappen Parks mit nutzen darf, andere Urlauber wurde das direkt am ersten Tag gesagt.
