Facilities Camping Hengelhoef
Pure relaxation can be found on the sandy beach or on the spacious lawn at the lake. By the water you can play beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball. Anglers are also welcome at Hengelhoef Camp Site. There is also a subtropical swimming paradise. Wave pool, wild water course, aquarium and suspension bridge are just some of the numerous attractions in the fun pool. The best way to relax is in the sauna, Turkish bath or whirlpool. At the holiday park you can also play boules, minigolf, table tennis or football. Or explore nature by bike? Just hire bikes at the holiday park and start cycling.
Facilities for children at Hengelhoef Campsite
For little money you can relax with the whole family in the water park. For children, there is a separate paddling pool where they can play safely. In the indoor play paradise, they can slide, climb, crawl and play. In the dark room, the black light will amaze your children. The toddler area is equipped with a mini slide and soft obstacles. During the Dutch school holidays, children can take part in activities such as play afternoons, children's bingo or treasure hunts. Children will also have lots of fun on the air cushion.
Camping Hengelhoef restaurants
On the covered Plaza you will find a cosy terrace, a restaurant with an atmospheric bar, a snack bar and a supermarket. The Plaza also offers musicals and other evening programmes during the school holidays.
Near Camping Hengelhoef
Discover the Tenhaagdoornheide nature reserve with its rolling hills. Another beautiful nature reserve is the Molenheide nature and hiking park. The brewery Kasteel-Brouwerij Ter Dolen is also worth a visit. Here you can learn all about the art of brewing and taste delicious abbey beer. In the museum Ons Mijnverleden you can dive into the history of coal mining. You can also explore various towns and villages in the area, such as Hechtel-Ekster and Peer.

Pets on request
Pets are always on request. You must indicate this when booking and the Oostappen park will consider your request. The costs are € 5 per animal per night and a one-time € 10 extra cleaning fee.
Slides
The slides of the swimming pool at Hengelhoef holiday park are temporarily closed due to maintenance. It is not yet known until when the slides will remain closed. Keep an eye on the website for up-to-date information.

Bunk beds Deer Camp Mobile
The bunk beds in Deer Camp Mobile are not suitable for adults. They have a smaller size ranging from 60x180cm to 70x180cm.
Babies
Babies must not exceed the number of persons allowed in the accommodation. If so, the booking cannot proceed and will not be accepted by the park.
Swimming pool closed
Due to technical problems, the swimming pool at Camping de Hengelhoef is currently closed.
