At Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh, your detached bungalow is next to Lauwersmeer National Park. This beautiful nature reserve is one of the most unique spots in the Netherlands. The park has a lot of water and therefore many water birds. Don't forget to bring your binoculars. Always wanted to walk across the mud flats? Facilities Landal Nature Park Suyderoogh
Sports enthusiasts will have a great time at Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh; there is a miniature golf course and boules court. If you want to hit some balls, there is an all-weather tennis court. There are also sports fields for football, basketball and beach volleyball. On the park's inland water, you can canoe or fish without a permit, or rent a boat through the park's restaurant and enjoy a day at Lauwersoog. The swimming pool also has a paddling pool for the little ones. For some relaxation, go under the sunbed or in the sauna or Turkish steam bath. Success is guaranteed with an evening of bowling with the whole family.
Children's facilities at Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh
Children will have a great time in the swimming pool with paddling pool. The park also has a youth room with various gaming machines. For the more adventurous children there is an outdoor zip line and air trampoline.
Restaurants Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh
For a cosy dinner you go to Restaurant Suyderoogh where you can also go bowling, this restaurant is located next to the park. Want an easy meal? Then visit the cafeteria or park shop.
Park surroundings
The park is located at the Lauwersmeer, where you can enjoy surfing and sailing. If you like walking, you are also in the right place. The Ballastplaat forest borders Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh, where you will find 3 marked trails. Would you rather explore the area by bike? Then cycle to one of the charming towns of Anjum, Dokkum, Kollum or Zoutkamp. You'll pass characteristic farmhouses. The ferry to Schiermonnikoog departs from Lauwersooghaven. You can take a day trip to this island. Cosily strolling through the harbour is also highly recommended, where you will find a collection of pleasure yachts. Those who want to visit a museum can go to the Tea Museum in Houwerzijl, Abrahams Mosterdmakerij in Eenrum or NatuurDoeCentrum Insektenwereld in Borg Verhildersum, among others.

Fireplace reservation
There is a fireplace in accommodation types 4B2, 4B3, 6D2 and 6C. This can only be booked by preference, as not every accommodation has a fireplace.
Optional additions
It is optional to book accommodation with a bath and/or second toilet upstairs as a preference. Not all accommodation has this as standard. For accommodation 6CK, booking a cot is also optional and not already included as standard.
Reception opening hours
On arrival days, reception is open from 09:00 to 20:00. From Tuesday to Thursday + Saturday and Sunday, reception is open from 09:00 to 17:00. After reception opening hours, an emergency number is always available. For current reception times, you can always check the Landal app.
