Holiday park La Boverie is beautifully located in the Belgian Ardennes right next to the river Ourthe. In the surrounding area you will find many famous Ardennes towns such as La Roche, Hotton, Houffalize and Durbuy. This holiday park is especially popular among sports enthusiasts due to the numerous activities available in the region. You can enjoy kayaking, tough quad biking, rock climbing, mountain biking and even abseiling.

Facilities La Boverie
At La Boverie, you won't be bored for a single moment. You can enjoy the beautiful countryside while having fun on the tennis court or at the fish pond. There is also a swimming pond with a grassy lawn where you can enjoy the sun. Do you fancy a game of basketball or miniature golf? That too is possible at the park. La Boverie also has a shop and a launderette with washing machine and dryer.

The holiday park has several playgrounds for the youngest guests. The park is partly car-free, so children can play safely and undisturbed.

Surroundings La Boverie
At La Boverie you are in the midst of the beautiful nature of the Ourthe Valley and directly on the river Ourthe, where you can paddle, fish and kayak. About 6 kilometres away is the town of La Roche-en-Ardenne. La Roche is a pretty town and there are various sports activities to be undertaken. In winter, snow lovers can enjoy the slopes of Baraque Fraiture and the cross-country tracks of Samree. The towns of Hotton, Houffalize and Durbuy are also worth a visit. Take a walk through the small streets of Durbuy and make a cycling tour of the lovely villages in the area.

Positive experience:
Beautiful surroundings and close to the ourthe. Parking down by the ourthe is only allowed for La Boverie holidaymakers, very sensible.
I was in cottage 64 with a fantastic view.
At the Magni restaurant you can eat excellent food and the staff is very friendly and also a plus for the owner is that if you book there you get a drink on the house.
The cottages are adequately furnished and all facilities are available.

Points of improvement:
If you want to watch TV then you really need to be a techie because when you switch on the TV you get a black picture.
The sat then gives a square on the left with Asat. so no picture.
After taking a technical look at the cabling I saw that the sat was on HDMI 3 and then you first have to click source on the TV remote then click HDMI 3. Then you have an image
Tip: No the new residents a good manual otherwise you have no TV.

Positive experience:
Nice owner. We arrived after closing time and he has been waiting for us! The park is beautifully beautiful, nice playgrounds for the children and a lovely forest for the dog. The chalet was also very nice. Nice and close to La Roche and a perfect location. We are already figuring out when we can get time off to go again! I was shocked when I read the reviews about dirty cottages etc but our cottage was a bit dated ( which belongs in the Ardennes) but clean and tidy and there were plenty of things available. The beds were also really lovely and all in all we had a great holiday!

Points for improvement:
No small shop on the park.
