excellent as always, however, would like to see a little fence on both sides of the terrace, as we have dogs and it would be nice to close the terrace off so they can't run away. Also would be nice to have a mosquito door on both bedrooms so they can stay open at night without being bitten. Otherwise...

We had booked 2 nights here before our kayak trip. On arrival, we were directed to our pitch which was just by the entrance. I asked if there was a quieter pitch but were told that was it. This campisite is beautifully located, in a large bend of the river Ardèche.
It is very near Vallon Pont d'Arc and Ruoms, two very lovely towns (markets, restaurants, kanoeing, supermarkets...). In general, this area is ideal for exploring, hiking, biking and just enjoying the south-of-France-lifestyle.

We had a riverside camping pitch with a lovely view. Pitch was big enough for our 6 berth tent. Restaurant and bar are lovely and food is really good. Kids loved the pool and the river. Lots to do in the area including canoeing, go ape, horse riding, quad biking, go karts, markets.

The worst thing about this campsite is the letdown when you arrive: we'd booked a 'bord de riviere' pitch thinking we'd be by the river. The 'riverside' pitch is bordered by a hedge that prevents you from seeing the river, with trees in between also masking the view. All this on a site that is a good...
