The 5 star campsite A LA RENCONTRE DU SOLEIL is located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in Isère. At 5 minutes drive from the city center of Bourg-d'Oisans, at the foot of the Alpe d'Huez, the site has a magnificent view of the Alps and the Ecrins national park. Choosing A LA RENCONTRE DU SOLEIL is to enjoy a mountain vacation while taking advantage of water activities.

You will find an indoor swimming pool heated to 27 degrees, multi-sports fields and other entertainment such as concerts and musical evenings. While the little ones are having fun at the Mini-club, you can relax on the bar terrace. Bicycle rides, touring the Lauvitel lake, canyoning or rafting are also possible.

In addition, the campsite's restaurant offers quality menus and typical local specialties. Take advantage of a high quality wifi network in the whole campsite.

The staff are very friendly and the campsite is ideally located.
It was very hot in the room in the evening, due to the particularly hot weather this year.
The toilets are a bit small.
All in all, we had a very good stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! The pristine grounds and the cleanliness is amazing! The staff were helpful and friendly. Only a 10 minute walk to the supermarket or into the quaint town. It was so delightful to stay here! The pool was honestly wonderful- both on a rainy day with the covers closed and...

Wonderful place to stay in a super location, great pool, bar, restaurant and facilities. Staff great and very friendly. Cabin was just the job for our stay and the location was excellent. We will be back.

Very disappointed that both the swimming pool and restaurant are closed. The walk to town is on an unlit road and takes approximately 20 minutes. Amazing local scenery. The campsite is very clean and well maintained but we're leaving early.

We chose this campsite as a base to cycle up Alp d’Huez. The staff are warm and friendly, the facilities are clean with loads of hot water. We ate at the on-site restaurant and the staff are very helpful and the portions are decent size
