At Center Parcs De Kempervennen in Noord-Brabant, you will experience plenty of action and adventure. From water skiing and wakeboarding on the two large lakes to snowboarding and diving. The beautiful surroundings of the park are perfect for wonderful cycling trips. Also visit the villages Bergeijk and Riethoven with their cosy village squares and cafes. The Efteling amusement park is also nearby.
Facilities at Center Parcs De Kempervennen
Center Parcs De Kempervennen is surrounded by two lakes which are perfect for various water sports. Or climb higher on the rope ladders of the High Adventure Experience. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy snow fun in the indoor ski hall Montana Snowcenter. Feel like even more action? There is plenty of choice at the Sport Center. With its slide, wave pool and wild water rapids, Aqua Mundo is one big water paradise. Here you can also go white-water rafting or swim against the current in the wave pool! Afterwards, relax in the sauna, Turkish bath or whirlpool. Fancy a brain teaser? Then head to the Escape Room and try to crack the code in time! You can also go laser gaming, paintballing or archery. To explore the surroundings, you can rent an e-step, Segway or mountain bike. For something different, explore the new 15-hole Adventure Foot Golf course, a fun and challenging activity for all ages. Each hole offers a unique challenge, culminating in the 'signature' hole. This elevated hole offers stunning views of the entire Adventure Foot Golf course and the lake. Nice to know: an Adventure Foot Golf course is also being built at Het Heijderbos! Besides all the activities mentioned, there is much more to experience at Center Parcs De Kempervennen!
New at Center Parcs: the Summer Hotspot
The Summer Hotspot will soon be the focal point for outdoor activities and will give you the feeling of a summer festival. With beanbags, picnic blankets and pop-up terrace, this is the vibrant outdoor centre of the park. For swimming in the lakes in the Netherlands, a true beach setting will be created with sunbeds, parasols and more!
Children's facilities Center Parcs De Kempervennen
The park complex is great for children of all ages. Among other things, they can swim here, play games or join the Wannabe activity programme. Little ones can also visit the children's farm with goats, rabbits and pigs and see how the animals are cared for (or even lend a hand!). For speed hunters, there is a zip line, where they can slide down a high tower. Children can expend their energy in the children's disco. For the little ones, there is a puppet show and stories are read to them. In the indoor climbing paradise, children can enjoy climbing and scrambling at a height of 9 metres, with more than 10 3D walls. That's cool!
Restaurants at Center Parcs De Kempervennen
Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of Center Parcs De Kempervennen's restaurants. For delicious food, visit EverGreenz (buffet), Fuego adventure grill, Grabber Joe's Laguna Cafe (in Aqua Mundo) and Grand Cafe. Eat a tasty pizza or another good Italian meal at Nonna's Family Pizza e Pasta and Frites Affairs and enjoy live entertainment afterwards. In summer, find a spot on the terrace.
Surroundings Center Parcs De Kempervennen
De Kempervennen bungalow park is located in the Brabant town of Westerhoven and is built around two lakes created by sand extraction. You can take a lovely stroll along the water, as well as in the De Malpie nature reserve. In Westerhoven, you will find a number of religious buildings worth visiting, such as the Sint-Servatiuskerk and the Sint-Valentinuskapel. There are also numerous historical sites nearby. On the banks of the river Keersop, you will find a centuries-old well and, in the town of Bergeijk, the remains of the Westerhovense Watermolen. More sightseeing is possible in this nearby village. Check out the Old Town Hall and the Doctors' House. Bergeijk is also known as Rietveld village, partly because of the Weaving Company de Ploeg factory and the clock in the park, which were designed by this artist. You can see more art at the Eicha Museum, which informs you about the history of the region.
