Nice enough site, could do with some improvements.

Accomodation:
We stayed in a 3-bed ,2 bathroom mobile.
Modern spacious cabin, no tv, damp smell emanating from cupboards in the kitchen.
Utensils seemed very flimsy.
Fan was provided.
Pros:
Site is nice and a good size, with very wide roads, very spacious feel to it. Good shade on all the pitches.
On-site... restaurant was decent.
Site is a 3min walk to beach through nice forest.
Beach is amazing.
No sound from the adjoining main road, at least if you stay on the forest side of the park.
Entertainment staff were very enthusiatic and nice to chat to, as were the lifeguards and staff in general.
Takeaway pizza and chips nice.
Cons:
Pool area is small, at times we had it to ourselves in mid-June, would assume it gets very packed in July/Aug.
Slide was cool and was used a lot by us.
Parasols around the pool could do with a refresh, rusty and tired looking.
Pool warm sometimes, cold other times.
Bar is steep enough, €7.50 for a 500ml Grimbergen.
Playground and pitches look tired and could do with a refresh/lick of paint.
Other observations:
Site is pitch black at night. Lamps on paths but seemed to be out of order.
Great for star-gazing though.
Laundry machine was not working, no real problem as the Super-U has 24-h laundry machines.
Surrounding area is quite sleepy and quiet compared to say St. Jean De Monts further south.
Awkward enough location right off the main road, if you miss the turn, bit of a loop to get back.
Saw 1 other non-French group staying on-site, doesn't seem to be much of an international flavour to the site.
On-site store may aswell not be there for the extremely limited amount it carries and ad-hoc times it is open.
