An absolutely stunning site and location.

This site is simply stunning. There is a rustic charm to it, its buildings, layout and tranquillity and we loved it here. Fleeing a flooded site in the Dordogne we were recommended to move here and what a site it turned out to be. The views down the valley are amazing and as for sunset, well you have... to see it to believe it.
The pitches are huge, well maintained and surrounded by hedges affording you privacy. There is a mix of camping/caravanning or motorhome pitches, a few mobile homes and elegant lodges. The layout separates the site up so you are not aware of lots of accommodations. There is also an area with a good level of tree cover which must be important in the summer months. Rabbits and hare frequent the site especially under the trees, so if you do have a dog be aware…
The toilet and shower block (shared) is the cleanest I have ever seen anywhere on a campsite; there are washing sinks and a washing machine plus washing up facilities as part of this block. The bar and restaurant are well stocked and offer a lovely menu plus daily specials at really good prices. I do not think that the bar/restaurant manager nor the site manager actually rested, they seemed to be busy every moment of the day and were so friendly and helpful!
The swimming pool area (2 pools – one adult the other for children which is divided to provide a toddler pool) is large, spotless and having the most stunning views from the patio. Children were well catered for with a play area, swings, enclosed trampoline, basketball court, pétanque pitches etc and aces of fields to run and play safely.
We really loved this site and would have no hesitation in returning here.
