La Citadelle campsite is located in Loches in the Indre-et-Loire, in the Centre region, where you can set off on the trails of the Loire castles, the land of a thousand ponds, to discover the 'garden of France'. Located on the banks of the Indre river, the site is equipped with a covered and open-air swimming pool.

La Citadelle is a green and quiet campsite, which offers a natural setting for family holidays. Especially with young children, who will find a magnificent playground at La Citadelle.

La Citadelle campsite has a snack bar-restaurant, open in high season from midday, which will allow you to enjoy its famous pizzas, grills or mixed salads, as well as a varied grocery store. A bakery-viennoiserie sales point awaits you in the morning as soon as the reception opens.

The aquatic area will welcome you on more than 600 m² of beaches equipped with comfortable deckchairs for sunbathing, reading or relaxing by the new pools with a total surface area of almost 300 m². You can also take advantage of the heated outdoor pool for maximum sunshine. No beach shuttle service!

Reviews scared us a little but great few nights.premium pitch, would have been nice to have a newer shower block but understood the pitch size given suited our van. Very short walk into town, ideal. Pool to ourselves mostly and great for toddler and baby. Food on site united but good. Park for toddler...

Visited Loches, a truly beautiful town with a fascinating history, and stayed at the Citadelle campsite.
The site claims to be 4 star, and maybe it was in the past, but not anymore. The whole site looks tired and worn out, with no sign of any attempt to refurbish the facilities. Many of the toilets and...

What a lovely surprise when we arrived to be given a huge fully serviced grassy plot for our 8m motorhome (think it may have been an old chalet plot waiting for a new chalet). The pools were both wonderful, the on-site facilities...

Pretty sad site, nowhere near a 4 star

The rental was new and very well equipped, however the site was very disappointing.

Everything like looked very tired and run down and it looked nothing like the pictures on the website.

It is definitely not a 4 star site, it's probably closer to a 2 star. The general store consisted of around 15 items...

The comfort place was small, too small to place our tent. The pool was dirty, we couldn't see our own feet in the water. Even there was only 1 pool open.
The distance to the village is nice to walk.
