A magnificent setting between mountains and valleys

At the foot of the Vosges Mountains, the Giessen campsite is a charming destination. Crossed by a small river, it will be the ideal starting point to travel through a welcoming region rich in tourist sites. At 100 meters from the campsite, you will enjoy a covered swimming pool with a paddling pool and a water slide, as well as an outdoor pool in July and August. In the campsite, children will enjoy the "Aquatoon" playground in high season.

The campsite has many sports facilities, including a multi-sport field, a bowling alley, table tennis and a skate park. During the summer school vacations, the campsite offers daytime and evening activities for the whole family and a children's club for 4-12 year olds.

On the services side, you will find a snack bar with pizzas to take away or to enjoy on the terrace. The wifi is available on the whole campsite with an extra charge.

Aquavallées Centre 100 metres from the campsite: 1 heated indoor swimming pool, 1 outdoor pool in July/August, whirlpool, slide and PRM access. Free and unlimited access. Open from July to the end of September. The swimming pool is open at weekends from 01 July. Closed on Easter weekend and 01/05. Whirlpool. Shorts/Bermuda shorts not allowed.

Not many people in the campsite outside the school holidays, but with 2 very pleasant activity leaders, Brandon and Maxou, the week went by quickly. The campsite is well placed for visits and walks.

Lack of maintenance and cleaning of the Camp site, trash was not removed. No hot water for several days. The staff could only communicate in french

I am compelled to leave a formal complaint regarding our stay at Cottage 147 (Premium Cottage 3 Bedrooms 6 People from 27/06/2024 to 30/06/2024). Despite immediately reporting a malfunctioning air conditioner, nothing was done, and no alternative accommodation was offered.

Not 4 star They take your ID and unless you ask it’s on full view behind reception- not safe Are told Check out is Mid day but reception not open till 2 No emergency contact details to retrieve ID, no toilet roll, closed ladies toilets - had to use men’s. Limited facilities but still charged...

Nicely located camp site by the stream. Close to Ville for all provisions you may need. Nice heated pool with slides etc to keep kids busy, Well connected to Alsace Wine trail for the wine tastings! Graceful and friendly staff. Cant ask for more can we?

Medium sized camping with good facilities for kids: playground with bouncy house, many many activities from the energetic and positive animation staff and a nice little stream for building dams and searching for small fish and insects.
