The heated indoor swimming pool is also part of the attractions of this La Promenade campsite.

The La Promenade campsite offers a wide range of activities for campers at any time of the year. Don't miss a walk on the banks of the Loire to admire the exceptional landscape of the region. Sports enthusiasts can go tree climbing and hiking in the vicinity of the campsite. Family activities are scheduled in the evenings every week and twice a week for the sportsmen. At the La Promenade campsite, you can enjoy a pleasant indoor heated swimming pool with a paddling pool and a jacuzzi. It is open from April to September, from 10 am to 7 pm, depending on the weather. Day-trippers can also enjoy our open-air pool. This is an ideal pool for breaststroke swimmers or water sports enthusiasts. The pool is open from July to August, from 10am to 7pm.

In the premium bungalows, the double bed is very wide; it is possible to have absolute darkness in the bedrooms, which is rarely the case. On the negative side, the wifi connection promised in the description is only available outside, not always and with numerous disconnections, so it's not exactly top-notch!

Great campsite beside the Loire river. Good facilities although the outdoor pool wasnt in use when we were there. The indoor pool was lovely for a dip on a hot day. Would recommend site.

We did not like this campsite. It was unkempt, poor toilet and shower facilities, poor Wi-Fi connection, cold water showers, no hand washing sanitizer, no toilet paper at times and was not clean. The grass was long, untidy and in desperate need of upgrading.

We spent 3 nights here while using the Loire a velo cycle routes. Friendly welcome and good facilities. I think this would be a lovely site to visit with young children. The children's entertainer was working hard during our stay. A mix of sunny and shady pitches. We chose a shady one which was a mistake...

On the whole a good site, generous pitch size with clean facilities and friendly staff. The following are just for awareness. Great for local cycling.

There is road and rail noise that infringes the site on still summer evenings.
Toilets and showers are mixed with cubicles for showers and toilets...

We stayed for 6 nights in half term in our caravan, family with 2 children aged 8 and 6. We had a fabulous time. it was quiet when we stayed so we could pick our pitch. The couple that run the campsite are friendly and helpful. We ordered bread/croissants for each morning. There was a bouncy castle...
