The campsite Le Palais de la Mer is located in Sainte Marie la Mer, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, on the Mediterranean Sea. Between Canet-en-Roussillon and Port Bacarès, the campsite is ideally situated and has direct access to the beach. The aquatic area with its heated swimming pool has everything to please the greatest number of people with its slides and its playground.

Sports activities are organised during the day. A tennis court, a multisport field and ping-pong tables are available for free. For the children's pleasure, a children's club, a mini-farm and a mini golf are dedicated to them.

The bar-restaurant and pizzeria "La Payotte" is located within the campsite as well as the pub "L'Embuscade" for crazy evenings! A grocery store is also available.

From mid-May to the end of September, the campsite's water park is an experience for the whole family. There are 2 outdoor pools, one of which is heated, with a paddling pool, 4 slides, a jacuzzi (free) and a relaxation area with a Turkish bath (free). Project 2018: At the beginning of the season, 4 slides will be added to the water area.

Young and old alike can enjoy the campsite's aquatic area with a heated outdoor swimming pool for swimming in all seasons. The lovely pool is equipped with a waterfall and a paddling pool so that the little ones can have fun in complete safety. After your swim, you can relax on the deckchairs around the pool, sunbathe, read a book or watch your children swim like dolphins. And to satisfy your desire for relaxation and well-being, let yourself be tempted by the jacuzzi and its relaxing bubbles!

I liked it:
the tranquillity we expected for the September period
the very well equipped, practical and well thought out sanitary facilities for the whole family, especially and even if we didn't need them, everything that has been put in place for the little ones! exemplary cleanliness in all the premises
the wonderful discovery of the animal park and the direct access to the beach
The availability of the receptionists

I did not like it:
having needed to reach the reception before 8.30am I would have liked a telephone transfer to a mobile phone so that we could reach someone.
Hence my question about what to do in case of an emergency, a detail that I omitted to mention on the site.
Rest assured, there was no emergency for us.

the camp exceeded our expectations!

Pitches were very big, with a lot of privacy.
Swimming pools and slides were great.

We are traveling a lot and we can easily say that this campsite is 6*campsite not 4*.

We stayed there just 2 nights, if we would know that it would be that great we would stay longer.

The UK brought in a 14 day quarantine for arrivals from France a couple of weeks before we were due to travel. We then couldn't travel because our children would have missed even more schooling.

The campsite were totally inflexible and wouldn't move our booking. The campsite just took our money and...

We’ve spent two weeks here with our caravan. Our pitch was big enough for our 7.3 meters caravan with awning and parking the car. The pitches are quite private as there are lots of cul de sac where no traffic going through.
The little roads are quite narrow and not the easiest manoeuvre large outfits....

Love it here. Beautiful campsite next to beach. Lovely accommodations and nice people. Two swimming pools - one is heated and a child's pool. Onsite grocery store and bar and restaurant. Good base to explore South of France from. We flew last year and drove down this year.

We spend 1 week en septembre with our 2 kids. Very nice place. Very clean commun showers, toilet - they have family showers witch is perfect for little kids like ours. Even in septembre (out of season ) we had some organized parties all day long. The restaurant was very good , the waitress was so kind...
