Camping Lou Castel is situated in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle in the Dordogne, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in a region that offers an almost infinite variety of landscapes. It is located 3.5 km from the Dordogne river, in the forest. For your aquatic leisure activities, you will benefit from an open-air swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, a heated swimming pool and you will have fun in the water slides of the campsite. The campsite is open from 07 April to 22 September

Have fun with your family on the multi-sports area and choose between a game of football or basketball! The older children can spend their afternoon playing petanque or volleyball. When it rains, the games room will keep you busy. Between billiards, table football and pinball machines, there is a choice! For walking or horse riding, you can set off on marked footpaths from the campsite

A bar/snack bar allows you to sip a cocktail on the terrace or have lunch with the family. A bread and pastry shop and a grocery store will allow you to do your basic shopping without leaving the campsite.

We had an excellent stay at this campsite. The facilities are top-notch for children and there's no shortage of activities for families. Great atmosphere.
The staff are friendly, smiling and attentive; the same goes for the snack bar.
The campsite's location is ideal for visits. A maximum of sites to discover within a 20 km radius.

We had a verry good week at camping Lou Castel. Nice staff, a large pitch, great entertainment. The camping is located nearby some of the most beautifull sites of the dordogne. One negative point, please upgrade the toiletblock, to little and not always properly cleaned.

Booked this campsite on the spur of the moment and what a great choice we made!

We were 2 families totalling 6 (3 children aged 8 and 9 and 3 adults). We decided to take our own tents and were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful self contained pitches which were all shaded trees. This was perfect...

On the whole the campsite is very well run, very friendly and welcoming.

Le camping est agréable et a répondu à ce que nous recherchions. Il y a pas mal de choses à visiter aux alentours. L’espace aquatique est top.

Le mobilhome manquait toutefois de propreté Et de rideaux à certaines fenêtres.
