Elisabeth and Emmanuel welcome you to the "LES COTEAUX DU LAC" campsite. Close to the Châteaux of the Loire, between the châteaux of Chenonceaux and Amboise, the Beauval zoo and the royal town of Loches, "Les Coteaux du Lac" is ideally situated for a friendly holiday in a calm, green setting on the banks of Lake Chemillé.

In 2025, our campsite will be open from 22 March to 30 June. This year, the lake will be emptied in January to allow for major development work that will create an even more beautiful and pleasant leisure centre from 2026!

To extend your stay in the region, our Parc des Coteaux chalets, located just 800m outside the campsite (5/7 pers. chalets and Horizon chalets), remain available for self-catering rental until 5 October 2025.

The leisure centre opens in April, offering plenty of opportunities for relaxation and land-based leisure activities. However, water-based activities will not be available this year due to the lake clean-up work scheduled to start at the end of June.

Just a little more patience... We can't wait to show you a completely renovated and even more enjoyable area in 2026!

We had a great 4-day weekend. The place is very green, accompanied by birdsong and the visit of squirrels, the lake with supervised swimming and the restaurant "carpe diem" where the welcome is extra are within walking distance. And Beauval zoo is just 20 minutes away. At the top

We had a wonderfull stay at a very complete utilitized and spacious tent. The camping is not very big, which we find a plus but still has a lot of services, like the possibility to order pizza. The only thing lacking was the sun, but that didn’t change the fact we had a great time!

Spent a week here in June 2018 while touring Northern Franc in our motorhome. The campsite is in a stunningly beautiful location, ideal for walks, cycling and swimming. There are many nice places to visit not too far from the site We had a warm friendly welcome from staff and the site has excellent facilities....

Great little site, our pitch was a large hedged pitch, backing into lake , easy assess to the lake for nice walk or bike ride. Lake didn’t look too inviting for swimming, dead fish floating around...! Swimming pool was nice , food available to takeaway but you had to orde the day before with a...

The campsite is in a lovely setting next to the lake. The facilities are good with a warmed outdoor pool, a shop and bicycle hire. There is a pleasant walk to nearby Montressor. The toilet and shower facilities are clean, modern and enough for the size of site. The camping pitches are very good value....
