The return of the Brits

Chadotel, Campsite, in the beautiful village of St Cyprien, is perfect. Not too big, so that you don't get the personal touch, but big enough that it offers all you need for a stay.
We have returned again to this place because we always get brilliant service. Mike is english speaking, so we never have... confusion when asking for help. Caroline, who is his french wife, is always friendly and calm.
The campsite is always clean...no litter in site. There are no pets roaming around, if you have little ones who might be afraid of dogs. There is never any load noisy residents, which i have experienced on other campsites.
Our mobile home, once again, was spotless. There is all you need supplied in the kitchen, for cooking. A large terrace on which to dine AL-Fresco, which has a large canopy if sitting in the sunshine bothers you.
The beds are comfy, with clean bedding in each room. There is a gas hob on which to cook, in the kitchen, But should you want to BBQ, there is a designated area just for this.
On site is also a launderette, with 3 washing machines, and 1 tumble drier. All large enough to take family loads. If you'd rather dry you clothes in the sun, there is a clothes horse which you can leave on the terrace.
For the pool area, this year we were very pleased to find that there has been a big change. There is now a beautiful modern children's swimming area, with fountains, slides and jets, perfect for having fun. The pools are heated, should the weather turn cooler. There is a large pool, for recreational use, or if quiet, a few laps for fitness. The main pool also has a fun slide, which most children use immediately on seeing. In the height of the season there is a full timetable of activities to choose from, ranging from water aerobics, volleyball, all this with a qualified staff, & lifeguards to watch over the pool.
Next to the pool is the bar area, which has the dish of the day, chalked on the board outside, so you can decide whether to eat in or take a stroll to the marina (approx 2 miles away). Here you will receive value for money meals, which cater for all. I particularly like the pizza, and moules & frites.
Another thing the site has is areas to recycle. This is really important to me, so i was thrilled to find that they also supply recycling bin under the sink, all colour coded.
I can't say enough about this campsite, and actions speak louder that words. As i tend to return every year, this speaks volumes.
I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do.
Thank you Mike, Caroline, & Daved. Also all the other seasonal staff who make the entertainment happen.
See you next year
Jane & James
