The campsite Le Lac d'Orient is located in the heart of the natural park of the Forêt d'Orient in Aube in the Champagne-Ardenne region, in Mesnil St Père. It offers you a natural and comfortable setting. You will enjoy a heated indoor swimming pool and an outdoor aquatic complex equipped with slides and penta-slides.

In July and August, the campsite offers you a stay rich in sports activities and entertainment. You will have on the program: gym in the water, volleyball tournament, petanque competition, etc. Enjoy the evenings with shows, karaoke, concerts and also dance evenings. In addition, the Lac d'Orient campsite is equipped with several leisure facilities to spoil children and adults: multi-sports field, petanque, volleyball and badminton courts. A fitness room is also on site.

To enhance your stay, the campsite offers a wide range of useful services. There is a restaurant, a bar and a mini-market. The wifi connection covers the whole site. A laundry is at your disposal.

Châlons-Vatry (At 59 kilometres from the campsite)

From the North, on the A26, take exit 23 Les T hennelières towards Troyes-Est/Forêt d'Orient. Continue on the D619 and take exit 43 to Mesnil-Saint Père/Port et Plage/Les Grands Lacs/Forêt d'Orient. Finally, continue towards the D43.

The campsite has a 17.5 metre long indoor heated swimming pool. The campsite also has a pool complex with a 15 metre round outdoor pool and a second smaller outdoor pool. The pool area is equipped with slides, a 35-metre space slide, 2 x 11.5-metre pentagliss slides and a 91 m² (13 x 7 m) paddling pool with water jets and water games. Your children will be safe there, as it is only 20cm deep. Swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool area.

When it's very hot, you need the optional air conditioning or at least a fan! Otherwise, on the whole, no problem. The marking of the pool steps should be reviewed as many people had difficulty distinguishing them and bumped their feet into them. Blue or red lines would be a plus.
Otherwise this campsite is very welcoming and quiet during the off season.
