Direct access to a pond

Located in Bays, in Gironde, the campsite Le Chêne du lac welcomes you in a green and soothing setting. It is the ideal place to spend your vacations with your family, with your partner or with friends. The establishment has a lake allowing you to practice various water activities: paddle, pedal boat, canoeing, windsurfing.

The campsite Le Chêne du lac also has a playground with a slide, a mini soccer field, a ping-pong table... It also offers walks in the forest and bike rides for nature lovers.

As for services, the establishment has a snack bar where you can enjoy various dishes. You can also buy bread and pastries every morning. And for special occasions, the campsite offers a service of privatization of the premises.

Although it doesn't have a swimming pool, Le Chêne du Lac has a large lake with a private beach. There is a wide range of water sports available. The lake is open from 9am until sunset. Please note that the lake is not supervised. Minors are under the care and responsibility of their parents.

Small family campsite in the heart of nature, relaxing on the edge of a small lake where everything is available (paddle, kayak, pedalo) and all free of charge, warm and friendly welcome, I recommend 100% we will return if the opportunity arises for sure.

We had a super time at this campsite for a week. The welcome was warm and friendly and they were happy to show the rugby on the tv each evening to keep my husband happy! Really excellent camping. Very quiet but yet enough to do with the private lake.
You can swim but also grab a cano at the lake. The bar/restaurant serves great pizzas and breakfast. The pitches are shady and the lake side sunny. And don’t forget the staff who are really friendly and helpfull.

Arrived on off chance. Even though family party was taking place we were welcomed and quickly given a pitch. Lovely lake views and bar area was inviting. Facilities good. Would recommend for families too as plenty of facilities gor children
