Located in the Doubs, on the edge of the Jura Mountains, Camping Le Chanet enjoys a breathtaking landscape, perfect for a stay in the heart of nature. The establishment is spread over a beautiful wooded park of 2.2 hectares on the edge of the historic town of Ornans. For the greatest pleasure of water activities lovers, Le Chanet campsite has opened a natural swimming area with crystal clear waters, a small slide for children, a paddling pool and a balneo area.

Le Chanet campsite offers you professional fitness equipment and a log cabin sauna for moments of relaxation. You can also take advantage of your stay in this establishment to discover all the charm of the region: its great wild landscape and its rich heritage.

As far as services are concerned, the campsite Le Chanet proposes during the opening hours of the reception a grocery store where you can find local products and regional specialities. Camping equipment is also available for sale. The site also has a bread and pastry shop on order.

From Besançon Viotte TGV you can take mobigo 204 towards Pontarlier and stop at the CAL stop in Ornans. We are 1.5 km from the town centre.

The pool has a 13 × 6 m pool with a depth of 1.10 to 2.20 m, filled with crystal-clear, chlorine-free water. A 6 × 3 m paddling pool. Please note that the application of chemical sun cream is not permitted. Use organic creams instead. Men and children are not allowed to wear swimming shorts.

The campsite is situated on a hill with a mix of chalet and rather odd looking sheds both seasonal and rentals as well as touring pitches which are mixed in with the other accommodations. Electricity offered is 5 amp or 10 amp. There weren’t enough points without electric leads having to cross pathways...

We love this campsite. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The camp plots are spacious enough and most are surrounded by hedges giving campers a lot of privacy. The area is quiet & clean. mobil home sympa mais les chambres un peu petites, manque de hotte pour celles qui comme moi cuisinent en vacances. Personnel très sympa. Camping très agréable au calme. Pas de chèque de caution et confiance totale du camping envers les clients. Je recommande vivement ce camping

Accueil au top. Les gérants se sont mis en quatre pour nous rendre le séjour agréable. Camping très propre , écologique. Mobil home Carpe diem pour notre couple: confortable et bien agencé , beaucoup de rangements.
