Mixed feelings

Campsite advertised at 4 Stars. Don't think so! it would be a great 2 or 3 Stars.
The site is very dangerous for children as the only area they have to use their bikes, scooters or play is ... the roads ! + the spaces are so small that they can't play next to your static home neither (for mine, I have... calculated 3 meters between my "front door" and the path (in that space, there is the garden furniture and the car! Direct consequence: cars parked everywhere inside the site) - one side of the campsite seems newer and the spaces larger.
Bushes, trees : no maintenance (which makes the road inside the campsite even narrower)
no "street light" at night :the site is pitch black
Play area: bouncy castle surrounded by gravels ! mini golf: half broken, again surrounded by sand and gravels.
Swimming pools: not supervised
the outdoor one was disappointing : too small (nice slide for the kids though)
Indoor or "spa pool": too small and always full of children as it was shallow. The "against the current pool" is useless as too small to even swim in it!
+ the site is not secured : kids could go out and straight on the road
Food: there were pizzas twice a week, paella, pancakes. But again, you had to pre-order, pick up your meal and go back "home" to eat it: no common area to share a meal, meet other people.
The bar is too small
The site is pet friendly. Great. But I found it appalling that some people should let their dog do their business inside the site and not pick up!!! Again, with a bit of "policing" this could easily be rectified.
Children entertainment: 2 hours every morning. With 2 "not very motivated" ladies (very nice, though). They were lacking of imagination to keep kids of all sort of ages entertained.
The static homes were superb: new, big, clean
To finish on a positive note, I had a great time because the weather was hot and the region is superb, the beach is 400m away from the site (via the road): little bays along the path (so you can almost choose your own beach!), crystal clear waters.
you can also walk to Beg Meil via the costal path
To summarize: the site has a lot of potential and could be fantastic with a little bit of effort. All the ingredients are there. Especially with such a nice and helpful staff.
The "camping spirit" is non existant as the whole site is full of static homes (no tents, no camping cars, caravans)
