Firstly reception staff spoke brilliant English so check in was swift, although a little shocked by £150 holding free. Reception staff didn't provide wrist bands so had to return for them and also provided 5 free kids drinks rather than 3 kids and two adults. The free drinks voucher mix up was quite... annoying at the on-site bar. The staff don't speak any English and ordering food and drinks was so difficult we only went there twice, in fact other than reception staff, all the staff have quite poor English and it was therefore really difficult to communicate with my terrible high school French.
Staff patrol the park all night, I really liked this it helped feel safe.
Poor signage, 30 mins to locate the caravan, with no support from staff. No idea what was going on or when.
When leaving, the sign on the back of the toilet door says remove and discard of all bed sheets provided, we thought this odd and therefore upon checking out took the sheets to reception to ask. I was told to drive back and put them in the caravan. I wasn't impressed I had spent two hours cleaning ensuring the caravan was spotless.
Lovely lifeguard at the pool from lunch time ish onwards... however lots of unaccompanied children in the pool with no adults in sight. The pool gets busy but that's normal, no issues getting a sunbed and enjoying a day by the pool.
Despite some issues it's a lovely camp, in an excellent location If you're willing to travel.
