Situated between Bourdeaux and Dieulefit, Le Grand Bois is a spacious, quiet campsite nestled in a forest at an altitude of 650 meters, with very pleasant temperatures in summer. The fresh forest air and serene surroundings will help you relax during your vacation. There's a lovely swimming pool on site, in the sunny meadow or on the flower-filled terrace

There are many walks starting from the campsite (GR 965, the Chemin des Huguenots, the Saoû forest, a magnificent geological nature reserve). You'll also discover the local weekly markets, rural villages with their craftsmen and cafés, as well as museums and activities for children.

On site, you'll find a bar with a large terrace and a restaurant serving home-made dishes. From mid-June to the end of September you can pick up your bread, ordered the day before at the bar.

I liked it:
My daughter and I loved it even though there was not much French. The owners are lovely and take care of everyone

I did not like:
The bar is closed during the day.
The campsite is mostly foreign and I would have liked to know that before booking.
