Crowded, fun party atmosphere to entertain your kids - close to a gorgeous beach

Oriented to entertain your little ones, with water slides, dance parties, magic shows, take out pizza etc. Each day there are two 2.5hr sessions of “kids club” - giving the adults just enough time to go to the beach or explore the (very cute) medieval town of Pals near by.
The excellent beach of... Plaija del Raco is a 10-15 min walk (downhill, uphill back). Continue to the right along the beach path to connect several secluded beaches (clothing optional) or to walk to the next village (20 more mins on foot).
Note that the resort is incredibly packed in, very dense and full of people - mostly Dutch, a few French, Brits and folks from Spain. We were the only Americans. Pool very crowded. Appreciated all the trees, shade and the grocery store on site (pretty reasonable). They keep the resort very clean and use a wristband system to monitor entry/exit. Loud music until late every night.
Biggest drawback was the lack of functioning WiFi. Also the sports areas were in pretty sad shape (we had hoped to play tennis, but sadly the court was tiny, no net).
We stayed in a cabin, Aiguablava, which felt like an efficient IKEA showroom. AC was strong and filled the whole apartment. Lots of closet space. They provided almost nothing, you needed to buy all your paper products, soaps, dish rags etc.
I’m glad to have gone and had the experience - my kids loved it. If going without kids, would definitely choose a quieter, more relaxing place.
