I want to go back!

We had a great time! Wasn't expecting much from the mobile home as we had booked a standard but it was very modern, had a hob and microwave/grill, fridge freezer, the beds were comfy and the air con was powerful which was very needed! Lovely veranda to sit outside. The welcome pack has a few bits to... get you started (a toilet roll, washing up liquid, bin bags etc). There's a big supermarket not far away and also a Lidl in Cecina. There is a very well stocked Market on site, but with the usual high on site prices.
So much to do on site and in the local area, we were here for a week but could have filled three weeks with activities easily.
On site;
Pool with slide and daily activities run by the entertainment team (who are great!). Pool opens at 9.30 but queue from 9:20 or earlier if you want a sunbed for the day. You need to wear a swimming cap but they are available from the shop for a few euros.
Communal BBQ area - we never used.
Laundry - 4 euros for a token for washer or dryer but also sinks to do handwashing.
Car park - 5 euro returnable deposit for the pass. Busy at times, we had to park on the road once but not a problem really.
Two fishing lakes - these were fab! It's 10 euros for an hour but gets cheaper the more hours you have. We had hours of fun fishing with the kids and shout out to the guy who runs the lakes as he's so friendly and helpful.
Entertainment area with kids park right by it: shows every night, a couple we seen were a kids talent show and a Michael Jackson tribute which was really good.
Bar / Restaurant and Market - all great, restaurant wasn't massive portions so recommend two courses if you're hungry, but still great food.
WiFi - pretty rubbish. Their WiFi logs you out every time you stop using the internet so you have to log back in. Not much reception in caravan on data either but we managed.
Shuttle to beach - doesn't run between 1 and 3 but it's not a far walk as long as it's not too hot. We got on every time we needed to but heard other people say that they couldn't get on as it was too busy.
Beach - We paid 30 euros for sunbeds for the day which was expensive (perhaps we got ripped off). There are men selling beach umbrellas so it's probably cheaper to sit on your towel and buy one of those. We got stung by jellyfish in the sea, the lifeguard sprayed us with diluted vinegar and we were fine after half an hour but it wasn't very pleasant. Beach is a mix of pebbles and sand.
Mojito Beach Bar - amazing seafood, a must try! The best meal I had in Italy! Also sells sandwiches / drinks / ice creams to eat in or takeaway. Nice friendly staff.
Local area:
Water park in Cecina - so busy we didn't go on the larger rides but got on the smaller rides lots of times and had a great time. You can take your own food which is a bonus.
There's also a zoo, a theme park and a high ropes place which we didn't visit.
Boat trips out to Islands - didn't do this either but was told by someone that Elba is amazing and they didn't want to leave so wish we had!
I saw a trip to some caves that looked good (leaflet in reception) - didn't do.
We also got the train to Rome for the day from Cecina train station. Cost about £90 for a family of 4.
All in all, I want to go back and do the stuff we missed out on!
