Located in Ascarat in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, Europ Camping welcomes you to a peaceful, natural setting for an unforgettable family holiday. Just 1.5km from Saint Jean Pied de Port, 10 minutes from Spain and 20 minutes from the village of Espelette, famous for its peppers, this campsite is the ideal starting point for discovering the culture and landscapes of the Basque Country. For those who love the open sea, Biarritz and its beaches are only an hour's drive away. After a stroll, you'll appreciate the outdoor swimming pool (open from mid-May to September), where you can swim a few lengths and relax on the deckchairs at your disposal. For the little ones, there's a paddling pool to discover the pleasures of water. For those who wish to relax, a sauna (for a fee) is available in high season.

Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the volleyball and badminton courts, while others may prefer to relax over a game of table soccer or billiards. The Basque pelota court is freely accessible in the village of Ascarat, a 5-minute walk from the campsite. Petanque enthusiasts can take advantage of the petanque court. Children will love the playground and ping-pong table, where they can have a great time with their friends!

In July and August, the campsite organizes one musical evening a week, where you can dance and have fun with family and friends.
As for services, there's a bar-restaurant where you can discover local products while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. Takeaways (pizza, French fries, roast chicken) and a small grocery store with regional products are also available. Bread and Viennese pastries are available every morning by prior arrangement. The campsite has Wifi access (at an extra charge) and laundry facilities (at an extra charge).

A l'accueil, pas du tout aimable,Dans le mobil home,En arrivant pas d'état des lieux, vaisselle cassée, sale.essoreuse fond fondu. Couettes sales et tachées. Au restaurant ,tous les midis= poulet - frites ,genre cantine scolaire. Pas d'animation, très triste...

Camping dans lequel j'ai passé des vacances il y a 25 ans et qui n'a pas changé depuis. Bien dommage de voir que les sanitaires n'ont pas été rénovés (vétustes, eau de la douche froide, pas de papier, une poubelle et un racloir seulement pour l'ensemble du bâtiment) , que la piscine ou l'aire...

la tente loge est bien équipé et propre mais impossible de se reposer, l’agriculteur mitoyen fait un bruit infernal tous les matins. des jeunes bruyants qui ne respectent pas les horaires, aucun passage des gérants.
