Its proximity to the beach (28 km) makes it an ideal holiday destination. Holidaymakers will also appreciate the unheated outdoor swimming pool, which is accessible even out of season.

There are two ways to get to the campsite by car. For those coming from the north and north-east, take the A63 and the D12. By avoiding the Bayonne turn, you save about 30 km and tolls. Those coming from the South and South-East, follow the A64 to exit 4. You can also take the poetic road from the South-East (not allowed for motorhomes and caravans)...

A check of the accommodation before renting would have been welcome. Garbage bins not emptied (kitchen and bathroom) - shower cubicle not cleaned. Kitchen sink blocked (we unblocked it). The reception, the site, the location was, the snack bar services were remarkably pleasant. We would stay again.

Great place to crash on a 17 day cycling trip

I stopped here around halfway through a 1250 mile bikepacking adventure from Gibraltar to London. It was a lovely place to stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the showers and facilities more than adequate, and there was a pool. Simple but it was everything I needed.
