The Etche Zahar campsite offers you quiet vacations in an idyllic setting in the Basque Country, close to the Landes and Basque beaches. It is the perfect destination for a stay in the ocean and mountains with your children, as a couple or with friends. The aquatic area of the campsite with a large swimming pool and a paddling pool is also part of its main assets.

Several playgrounds are available on the Etche Zahar campsite for the pleasure of young and old. You can try your hand at soka tira and participate in several activities such as canoeing on the Adour, ping-pong tournament, etc. The Val D'Adour Maritime is also a perfect place for cycling and hiking if you like active vacations. You can also enjoy various water sports in the vicinity of the campsite.

There are two ways to get to the campsite by car. For those coming from the north and north-east, take the A63 and the D12. By avoiding the Bayonne turn, you save about 30 km and tolls. Those coming from the South and South-East, follow the A64 to exit 4. You can also take the poetic road from the South-East (not allowed for motorhomes and caravans)...

A check of the accommodation before renting would have been welcome. Garbage bins not emptied (kitchen and bathroom) - shower cubicle not cleaned. Kitchen sink blocked (we unblocked it). The reception, the site, the location was, the snack bar services were remarkably pleasant. We would stay again.

Camping familial où se mêle encore des emplacements pour les mobiles -home, les caravanes, les tentes.
Le camping est propre et la responsable aux petits soins.
Le coin piscine n'est pas immense mais suffisant.
Des barbecues sont à dispo avec des grilles .
Petit bémol sur les moustiques, il manque...

- Accueil moyen : pas d'explications sur le fonctionnement du camping ou les équipements.
- Emplacement inadapté pour une caravane : juste la taille d'un portail pour passer (arbustes ailleurs), avec allée étroite donc compliqué de manœuvrer. Entouré de 2 mobil-homes et 3 emplacements,...
