All the joys of camping but with the sea views of a beachfront hotel

The downside of Spanish hotels: noise and dirtiness.
The downside of camping: lack of comfort
This amazing place offers the best of both worlds - the superb sea views of a hotel, but without the noise and dirtiness, and the quiet serenity of camping (it's a family site, so no party animals welcome),... but without the discomfort. The pitches are arranged in tiers, so it's a bit like being on a balcony or something (you have to see to understand), but the views are the best I've ever seen on a campsite - looking out to the sea and hills beyond, but with enough tree cover for shade on ridiculously hot days. Facilities-wise, the toilets are very clean (and Western-style), and there's a nice pool, small footie pitch, bar, and games room for the kids. They have bands and karaoke etc some nights too, and a nice community of regulars who make you feel welcome. Dutch Peter and Ronald were our neighbours, and they've been practically living there for 30 years and are thoroughly fine dudes! It's a bit like a family of ex-pats I think, from various areas in Europe.
WARNING: the ground is gravel/sand below, so you'll need strong tent pegs - but once the pegs are in there is no danger of them coming out in storms like they do in grass which becomes mud. This is a brilliant place though, I'd fully recommend it.
